Hello everyone I just wanted to stop in and wish everyone a Happy New Year... I'm sure you are wondering what took so long.  I was unable to log into the network, I had no idea what was going on... My computer had crashed a few months back, and I thought that was the issue however, it wasn't.

In any case, I pray all is well with each and everyone of you.  This is a social network that was created to support stroke victims, and family memembers.  I hope that you are…

New iPad Application May be Helpful

I purchased a new iPad application this week. It allows the user to touch an icon to speak 50 important words, phrases, or sentences. A great feature is that you get to select the voice you want to use from a large range of ages and dialects. You can also turn on/off phrases and the icons rescale to fill the page. This is so very helpful to someone who can use a hand to point, but not speak. There is a limited free version, but I'd say the paid version ($49.99) is worth its weight in gold. The… Continue

Support for Children of Stroke Victims

Hello All,

My name is Kim and I'm 35 years old. My mom had a stroke when she was 47 and I was just about 14 years old. We've all been through hell and back and now my mom is ending her journey and currently receiving hospice care.

Why I'm here? When I was a child, there was no one out there that I could talk to. No one to turn to and no one to understand. I'm here because I do understand and I want to be here for others. I want to help children of stroke victims…

It's Me oh Lord!

It's me oh Lord "So then, dont be afraid. I will provide for you and your children. and he reassured them and spoke kindly to them" Genesis 50:21

Allow God to be your Lord and Savior, know that he understands everything you are going through. No matter what the situation, no matter what you may feel, or think just know that God is the solution.

When you think you are facing a situation alone, know that God moves through people, in which they can give you an answer. Keep your mind on the Lord let him know you trust him, and that you are willing to receive all that he has for you...

It's me oh Lord! Standing on your Word....

Benefits of Wisdom!

Proverbs 3:1-11 "My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, 2 for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. 3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. 8 This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. 11 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline and do not resent his rebuke."

God's Word,

Min. Janeide A. Chillis

Prayer for Wisdom and Forgiveness

Pslam 39

1 I said, “I will guard my ways, Lest I sin with my tongue;
I will restrain my mouth with a muzzle,
While the wicked are before me.”
2 I was mute with silence,
I held my peace even from good;
And my sorrow was stirred up.
3 My heart was hot within me;
While I was musing, the fire burned.
Then I spoke with my tongue:

4 “LORD, make me to know my end,
And what is the measure of my days,
That I may know how frail I am.
5 Indeed, You have made my days as handbreadths,
And my age is as nothing before You;
Certainly every man at his best state is but vapor. Selah
6 Surely every man walks about like a shadow;
Surely they busy themselves in vain;
He heaps up riches,
And does not know who will gather them.

7 “And now, Lord, what do I wait for?
My hope is in You.
8 Deliver me from all my transgressions;
Do not make me the reproach of the foolish.
9 I was mute, I did not open my mouth,
Because it was You who did it.
10 Remove Your plague from me;
I am consumed by the blow of Your hand.
11 When with rebukes You correct man for iniquity,
You make his beauty melt away like a moth;
Surely every man is vapor. Selah

12 “Hear my prayer, O LORD,
And give ear to my cry;
Do not be silent at my tears;
For I am a stranger with You,
A sojourner, as all my fathers were.
13 Remove Your gaze from me, that I may regain strength,
Before I go away and am no more.”
